Pelee Island Winery

Case Study

Pelee Island Winery is world famous for their sustainably-produced wines. Sustainability is a core value expressed in every facet of how they grow their grapes, treat their soil and produce their award-winning wines. Energy use is no different. By teaming up with VCT Group, Pelee has installed solar power at their winery in Kingsville, Ontario to help offset the energy use, and achieve significant savings, at their power-intensive operation. VCT Group built two Solar PV projects at Peele along with an EV Charging station and the Pelee team looks forward to further investments in renewable energy.
